Non-governmental organisations EC Ma Ndryshe from Kosovo and Foundation Cultural Heritage without Borders Bosnia and Herzegovina are jointly organising on 23th November 2016 in Sarajevo a regional conference «Bridging societies through tourism and culture, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo – How to overcome communication barriers?».
The conference will be held in Hotel Holiday, starting at 10 am.
Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina have a shared past and many societal links, currently being hindered by the mutually applied visa policy.
This conference aims at bringing together distinguished personalities of tourism and culture from both places to discuss ways and means of overcoming communication barriers between two societies.
The conference is a follow-up event of the two-day meeting held in July 2016 in Kotor Montenegro, which gathered civil and private sector representatives of tourism and culture from the region.
The conference is yet another attempt to foster regional cooperation through tourism and culture and an additional effort to highlight negative consequences of the visa policy that Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina apply mutually.
Application for the conference are available at this LINK.
The conference is financially supported by the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society.
