The project “Conservation and restoration of wall paintings in Ferhadija mosque in Sarajevo” that was implemented in the period November 2011 – April 2013 is finalized. Funded by Majlis of Islamic Community Sarajevo, the project restored wall paintings, of surface of the interior of mosque and surface of porch of Ferhadija mosque were restored. Led by the restorator conservator of work of art Mr. Nihad Čengić young professionals in Bosnia and Herzegovina increased and strengthened their capacity in conservation/restoration practice.
