The winners of the 2014 European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage Europa Nostra have attended the award ceremony the 5th of May 2014, at the Burgtheater in Vienna, under the patronage of the President of Austria, Heinz Fischer.
The 27 winners of the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards 2014 were selected from 160 nominated projects across 30 countries .The award-winning projects received the award from Commissioner Androulla Vassiliou and Maestro Plácido Domingo.
Cultural Heritage without Borders is awarded under the category of education, training and awareness –raising.

The award ceremony is part of Europa Nostra’s annual European Heritage Congress, and is supported by the EU Culture Programme.
